Keepsake bears
Each bear is custom made and will turn out slightly unique due to the texture of the fabrics and materials used. Facial expressions also vary slightly from bear to bear. All bears are made using Funky Friends Patterns.
Large Bear - £75
This beautiful bear measures approximately 13 inches tall and makes a wonderful, cuddly keepsake to treasure for years to come.
The Large Bear typically requires around 6–10 baby grows or children’s clothing items, depending on the size of the garments, plus 1–2 adult-sized pieces of clothing.
Mini Bear – £65
This adorable bear measures approximately 10 inches tall and is perfect if you have fewer items of clothing or material to create a special keepsake. It fits beautifully on a shelf, making it a lovely way to display and treasure those special memories.
The Mini Bear typically requires around 5–6 baby grows or children’s clothing items, or a minimum of 1 adult-sized piece of clothing, depending on the size and material.
Custom Embroidery – £5
Personalise your keepsake with custom embroidery added to the foot pads.
Names and dates can be embroidered on request. Please specify your embroidery requirements at the time of ordering.
How To Order
To place an order, simply send an enquiry using the contact page or get in touch with me via WhatsApp or direct message on social media.
Please include your name, contact details and details of the memory bear(s) you'd like to order.
What happens next?
Get in touch – Send your enquiry by email, WhatsApp or social media.
Receive the details – I will reply with my postal address and instructions for sending your clothing.
Pay your deposit – A £10 deposit per bear is required to secure your order.
Send your clothing – Carefully package and post your items to the address provided.
Confirmation – Once your clothing has been received, I will confirm safe delivery with you.
Making your bear – I will then provide you with a rough estimated completion time for your memory bear.
Before You Send Your Clothing
We know that the clothing you send us can hold incredibly special memories. Every item is handled with care and respect, so please take a moment to read the following before posting your precious garments to us.
Please wash your clothing first
Where possible, please wash and completely dry all clothing before sending it to us. This helps keep your fabrics fresh and makes them easier and safer for us to work with.
If an item cannot be washed because of its condition or because it is particularly delicate, please let us know when placing your order.
Please don't iron or alter the clothing
There is no need to iron, cut, trim or alter your garments before sending them. We will assess each item and decide which areas are best suited to your memory bear.
Please check pockets
Please check all pockets carefully before posting your clothing. We cannot be responsible for personal belongings accidentally left inside garments.
Please include the items you've selected
Only send clothing or fabric that you are happy for us to use. We recommend keeping any items that feel a little too sentimental and you would like to preserve in their original form safely at home.
Mark any special details
If there is a particular pocket, logo, button, collar, embroidery or other detail that you'd especially like included, please tell us. We'll do our best to incorporate meaningful features wherever possible.
Package your clothing carefully
Place your clothing in a clean, secure bag or parcel and package it securely inside your postage box or envelope. We recommend using a tracked delivery service, particularly when sending irreplaceable or sentimental items.
Keep a note of what you've sent
For your own peace of mind, we recommend making a quick list or taking photographs of the garments before sending them. This can also help us identify specific items if you've sent several pieces of clothing.
Please don't send anything irreplaceable without considering the risks
Although we take great care of every order, postal services and the handling of fabrics carry unavoidable risks. Please only send items you are comfortable entrusting to us.
What happens when we receive your clothing?
Once your parcel arrives, we'll carefully check the contents and assess the fabrics. If we have any concerns about the suitability of your clothing or need to discuss anything with you before starting, we'll contact you.
Your memories are precious to you, and we treat them that way.
